For shed slabs, create a form using 2x6 lumber. The area where the slab will ultimately be, should be prepared to accommodate the slab, factoring in elevation, and placement of form. Place the form, ensure that it is level, and secure with stakes. Screw stakes to form to secure. Pour concrete, and screed using a 2x4 long enough to overlap the longest dimension by at least 2’ on each side. Float with a magnesium float first, and then steel last, making sure to use a concrete edger in between steps.
