Trim

Baseboard:

Once all trim is installed, it can be filled with wood filler.  Putty or tube filler works best.  Tube filler can dry out too fast.  Seams can be caulked with paintable caulk, the excess removed, and a consistent bead created by swiping a wet finger along the seam.  Have a damp rag handy, using a portion to offload excess, and a clean portion to re-wet your finger.
