Demo

Bags and bins should be filled no more than what can be lifted and carried. When working with finished surfaces, a minimum of drop cloths should be used to protect the surface prior to piling debris.

  • Cut carpet in no more than 4ft segments to be rolled for ease of carry, and most efficient disposal

  • When demoing drywall, be sure to also remove all nails and screws, this prepares the surface to be modified, joined with additional framing members, or new drywall

  • Concrete is best demolished by making relief cuts every couple feet to allow room for the demo hammer to do its job

  • If disposing of pressure treated lumber too short to be used for other projects, it must be cut down small enough to bag, so that it’s not rejected by Edco
